A Warm, Romantic Celebration in Inglewood
Kira & Jacob’s winter wedding was an absolute dream. Even in February, the day was sunny and warm, filling every moment with bright, joyful light. I arrived just before the ceremony and, like everyone else, was immediately struck by Kira’s beauty — calm, radiant, and glowing with happiness.
Their ceremony took place at the charming Hemingway Room in Inglewood, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was so perfectly them: full of joy, laughter, and love. With so many people who meant the world to them in attendance, every moment felt heartfelt, emotional, and genuine.
From laughter to quiet, tender glances, it was clear how deeply they care for each other and how loved they are by those around them..
After the ceremony, we headed to Studio Atilier with their wedding party for portraits. The session included both fun group shots and intimate portraits of Kira & Jacob, which remain some of my absolute favourite wedding images I’ve ever captured.
Their style was simple, stripped-back, and elegant, leaving room for their love and natural beauty to shine in every photo. The light, the colours, and their joyful energy all came together to create timeless portraits that truly reflect who they are as a couple.
The reception was full of laughter, heartfelt toasts, and joyful celebration — but one of my favorite moments was a playful game the couple organized. Guests had to sneak pins onto each other’s clothes, and the person with the most pins at the end “lost” the game.
It was hilarious watching people sneak around, giggling as they tried to pin friends or even the newlyweds! At one point, the back of Jacob’s jacket was completely covered in pins — a silly, lighthearted moment that perfectly captured the playful, joyful energy of the day.
Kira & Jacob’s wedding was a beautiful, sun-filled celebration of love, community, and laughter. From the intimate ceremony to the studio portraits and playful reception games, every moment was full of life and authenticity. Days like this remind me why I love photographing weddings — because the real moments, big or small, are what make each celebration unforgettable.
